Media 

Recreational media is a huge part of modern culture all over the world! Media formats including: social media, tv shows, movies, and video games are all widely accepted and enjoyed. There is nothing wrong with relaxing and enjoying media appropriately. There are 2 things to consider when partaking in social media: content & time. These 2 are addressed below based on the following passages: Deuteronomy  5:11, Psalm 1:1, 101:3, Ephesians 4:29, 5:4, James 1:27, Philippians 4:8, 1 Corinthians 15:33.

Content that should not be watched or participated in:

• inappropriate language or joking

• unwholesome talk

• uses the Lord's name in a disrespectful manner

• any other obvious sin

Time should be limited in how much media is consumed and partaken in. A general guide is you should not spend more time on media that does not build up your faith than time you spend building up your faith.
